Meet Enzo's Pet Emporium

Hello my name is Melanie, a trained Holistic and Complementary Therapist.

 I am married to a wonderful man named Nick and we have a gorgeous family .

We live in a beautiful village called Osmotherley which is hidden in the North York moors and we have 2 cats, 1 dog, 3 Chickens, 2 pet Doves and somehow, a lost racing Pigeon has also taken up residency.

 I was Inspired by my loving lurcher (Saluki/Greyhound cross) puppy Enzo, who has a fatal neurological disease called Saluki NCL, to create a online pet accessory’s business. 

I came across Biothane in my search for collars and leads for Enzo. I was so taken by its strength, flexibility, colour range, comfort and eco-friendliness that I investigated it myself and self taught myself to make Enzo's personalised collars and Leads that he wears. From here I decided to put myself out into the world and set up Enzo's Pet Emporium.

I wanted to design and handmake personally Biothane animal/pet accessory's at reasonably prices, that are high in quality, comfort, durability and longevity for others and so here was are.

We are a very small little business that is only 2 months old as of August 2025. I am absolutely loving making items for all sorts of animals and pets. Its been a whirl wind since starting my journey on social media (Facebook). 

I have fantastic support from various people/company's who order and sell my items on my behalf, such as Dog trainers and Breeders. They have and are really helping me establish a good base for this little Business.

Everything  I make is from my home, in my workshop - I live out in the sticks and so I arrange for my postman to collect all handmade orders to be posted, which is amazing as it speeds up postage timescales. 

I adore and love animals, hence my passion is now becoming a reality with being able to be apart of there little journeys in life - even it is providing them with collars, leads and accessory's that make them feel and look good.
